The following notification will be publishedin the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:-PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
Inexercise of the powers conferred by Section 2(g) read with Section 27 of theMinimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act 11 of 1948), it is proposed to add theentry “Contract Labour who are not covered under any of the ScheduledEmployment of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948” as “71” in Part-I of the Schedule ofthe Minimum Wages Act, 1948 after the existing entry “70”, in its applicationto the State of Andhra Pradesh.
2. As required under Section 27 of theaforesaid Act, notice is hereby given to all the persons likely to be affectedthereby, that any objections or suggestions with respect to the proposedaddition of the entry in the Schedule will be taken into consideration uptothree months from the date of publication of this notification in the AndhraPradesh Gazette.
3. The objections / suggestions should beaddressed to the Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, Labour, Employment,Training and Factories Department through the Commissioner of Labour, A.P.,Hyderabad.
